Finding a decent place to eat with your dogs can be ruff, so The Queendom’s resident pooches, Nelly and Stewie, have taken on the task of reviewing Fife’s dog friendly eateries!

Our two four-legged reviewers took the trip to Tranquility in Waverley, Road, Mitchelston, Kirkcaldy for their first ever column…here’s what they had to say…
Being a Pug isn’t easy and modern dog life can be stressful, so we were delighted when our humans decided to take us out for a treat. On arrival to Tranquility, we were greeted by the friendly Alexis who’d made sure we had water bowls for a much needed drink. A nice touch.
Then, she brought over a complimentary bowl of delicious roast chicken, just for us, which we enjoyed very much.
It’s nice to be treated like royalty. And the humans liked it too – the fresh-baked scones with butter and jam and the malteaser cheesecake seemed to go down a treat – because they didn’t share any with us that’s for sure.
We noticed there’s also a comfy dog couch available and an extensive decking area outside at the cafe for the better weather. All in all, it’s definitely worth a visit for a coffee, lunch or larger meal. The friendly welcome got our tails wagging and we will definitely be back again.
